Further Information

Antigen Target Species:
Escherichia coli
Form:
Liquid
Gene Description:
DNA-binding transcriptional repressor
Gene ID:
945007
Gene Name:
lacI
Immunogen:
Recombinant protein corresponding to full length Escherichia coli (strain DH10B) lacI.
Note:
This product contains sodium azide: a POISONOUS AND HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE which should be handled by trained staff only.
Product Description:
Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against full length recombinant lacI.
Protein Accession:
AAA24052;P03023
Quality Control Testing:
Antibody Reactive Against Recombinant Protein.
Recommend Dilutions:
ELISA (1:90000-1:100000)
Western Blot (1:500-1:2000)
The optimal working dilution should be determined by the end user.
Specificity:
This antibody reacts with recombinant Lac I protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Lac I from DNA-binding transcriptional repressor in Escherichia coli (strain DH10B) and transcriptional repressor of the lac operon in Shigella sonnei (strain Ss046) based on a 100% homology with the immunizing sequence.
Storage Buffer:
In 20 mM KH2PO4, 150 mM NaCl, pH 7.2 (0.01% sodium azide)
