Bioactivity:
α-Tocopherol phosphate (alpha-Tocopherol phosphate) is an antioxidant that scavenges UVA1-induced reactive oxygen species (ROS) and protects against long-wave UVA1-induced cell death. alpha-Tocopherol phosphate disodium impedes endothelial progenitor cell apoptosis, enhances endothelial progenitor cell migration under high glucose/low oxygen conditions and promotes angiogenesis. α-Tocopherol phosphate disodium prevents apoptosis, enhances migration of endothelial progenitor cells under high glucose/low oxygen conditions and promotes angiogenesis.
