ALK5-IN-6 is a potent inhibitor of ALK5. ALK5-IN-6 has potential for TGF-β-related diseases and conditions, including but not limited to tumors, inflammatory diseases, fibrotic diseases, autoimmune diseases, etc. (information from patent WO2021129621A1, compound 1). Among them, transforming growth factor β (TGF-β) is a multifunctional cytokine involved in the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis in an autocrine, paracrine and endocrine manner through a complex receptor signaling pathway on the cell surface.
