Background:
Syntaxin 17 (Stx17) is an autophagosomal SNARE protein required for fusion with the endosome/lysosome. Stx17 localizes to the completed autophagosomes but not to the isolation membrane. Stx17 is essential for its selective targeting to the outer autophagosomal membrane and available to the completed autophagosome.
Description:
This antibody is useful for Immunocytochemistry of endogenous Syntaxin-17. This enables detection of completed autophagosomes in starved cells.
