Applications Description:
Use 25?l of slurry/100?g of lysate for immunoprecipitation. Optimal concentration should be evaluated by serial dilutions.
A nine amino acid sequence derived from the viral hemagglutinin is frequently incorperated into recombinant proteins as an expression tag. Clone 12CA5 anti-HA is useful for western blotting and immunoprecipitation of these proteins. Shown is a typical western blot (10% SDS-PAGE) of HA-tagged Rit, a Ras-family GTPase, expressed in HEK293 cells and immunoprecipitated with anti-HA agarose (lane 1), lysate of HA-tagged Rit expressed in HEK293 cells (lane 2), and control HEK293 cells (lane 3) probed with clone 14G7 anti-Rit. Reacts with HA tagged proteins.
